@NY Day31-33 | Happy Halloween (EST 11/2/2011)

It was a Halloween on 31st.
31日はハロウィンでした。
Before the day coming, I couldn't believe that there were so many people wearing their costume.
この日が来るまでは、まさかこんなにもたくさんの人達が仮装するとは思いもしませんでした。
To prepare for the Halloween day, I also bought a costume at Ricky's which is a famous costume shop for the first time in my life.
ハロウィンに備え、僕もRicky'sっていう有名なコスプレショップで生まれて初めて仮装グッズを買いましたよ。

What I bought was... JOHN TRAVOLTA's Saturday Night Fever lol!!
僕が買ったのは、サタデーナイトフィーバーのジョン・トラボルタ笑！
I got a white suit and a big aflo wig.
白いスーツとデカいアフロです。

First thing I did with this costume was that I went to a Halloween home party.
仮装してまずしたことは、ハロウィンホームパーティーです。
As it was also the first time to go to a home party in the States, I had really good time.
そもそもアメリカでホームパーティーに行くこと自体が初だったので、ほんとに楽しかったです。
Once I went to a party, I could talk to various people and that's the best part of the party.
行けば色々な人と話せる、そこがパーティーの良いところですよね。
That resulted to make another friend.
そうすることでまた友達ができます。
The connection between friends is so much important for me as no familiar friend to hang out with, so I will try to get myself out of my house!!
一緒に遊ぶ友達のいない僕みたいな立場では、こういった友達の輪は超重要なので、色々参加していきたいと思いますー！

Second thing is that I went to work with this costume... lol.
2番目はコスプレでの出社ですｗ
It was the annual event in my company that the freshman would go to work with Halloween costume.
うちの会社では、毎年1年目がハロウィンの仮装で出社するのが恒例行事です。
However, even in NY, I work for a Japanese company and most of my colleague are Japanese, so no one did Halloween in office. (you can imagine.)
とは言え、いくらNYにあるからと言っても僕の会社は日系企業で同僚もほとんど日本人。
職場で仮装してる人なんて一人もいませんでした。（そらそーだ。）
It was quite hard at first, but as time passed, it got better to be.
最初は辛かったですが、時と共にだんだん慣れますね。

Last event was a Halloween Parade held on Oct 31st from East Village to Union Square.
最後のイベントは31日にEast VillageからUnion Squareに向かって行われるハロウィンパレートです。

It was damn hot parade I've ever seen!!
これは今まで見た中でも本当にすごかった！！
Not just only the participants of parade, but also the audience walking, watching and taking photos here and there is in costume which is really high quality.
パレードの参加者だけじゃなくて、歩いてる人、見てる人、写真撮ってる人みんなが超レベルの高い仮装をしてきてるんです。

I was so impressed how people in NY like this event, and made themselves enjoyed.
本当にNYの人たちはこーいうイベントが大好きで、自ら楽しむ術を知ってるなって関心しました。

No matter what happens, I really want to join that parade next year.
来年は何があっても絶対パレードに参加しますよ！
