It's been a while again since last time I updated this blog...
Back again, I decided to spend a little more time to update this blog.
Why? Because I read and got motivated by the blog which one lady was keeping during her taking exams.
またまた久しぶりになってしまいました。
でも戻ってきたよ！そして今度こそもうちょっと頑張ると決意しました。
なんでって？それは同じくUSCPAを受験していた女性のブログを読んで、すごくモチベーションが上がったから！

She quit her job before taking all the exams and dedicated all her attention and time to this CPA exams.
What I got motivated from her is...

  • failing the same exams a while but never gave up.
  • finishing all the course first, and taking all the exams every term.
  • reviewing own score on the web.

彼女は仕事をやめて試験を目指し、めっちゃ頑張って全科目合格したすごい方です。
モチベアップポイント としては…
・何回も同じ試験に落ちる経験をしても、絶対諦めない。
・まず授業を全科目受けて毎ターム全科目試験に挑む。
・落ちた自分のスコアをネットに晒す。


Since I've already passed FARE and have a limited time to pass the rest of them, I should follow how she did pass them.
So I decided to note what I did, review my score on this blog and take multiple exams in one term.
僕ももうFAREだけ受かってしまったので、残り時間は限られてます。だから彼女のやり方は見習うところがたくさんありました。
僕も自分がやったことを記録して、スコアを晒し、毎ターム複数テストを受けたいと思います！


I have only one year left.
Time is limited and time flies.
あと1年。
時間は限られてるとすぐ過ぎちゃうもんな。


Do everything I can do!
So far, I have an up-coming exam next month.
やるべきことをまずはやります。
次に控えているのは来月のテスト。

Of course I scheduled it on this day only because the Thanksgiving weekend is coming right after that!!
To have fun on the weekend, I will do my best-----!!!
なんでこの日かってのはもちろん試験後にサンクスギビングデーが待っているからー！

Since I left my blog behind for long, I really didn't realize this.

Oh my goodness... I've never told my friends that I'm writing a blog here, and also I've been such a lazy writer to maintain this blog.
I'm not really sure who's checking this blog.
本当に信じられない…ここにブログ書いてることを友達にも言ってないし、全然更新もしてないのに。
そもそも誰がそんなに見に来てくれてるのかすら想像もつきません！

FARE PASS

It's been a long while since last time I updated my blog.
How have you been everyone??

You know what?
As you can see on the title, I passed FARE exam of CPA!!!
なぜって？
タイトルの通り、USCPAのFAREをパスしたからー！！！



I wasn't being lazy of not updating my blog.
I was really focusing on my CPA studying.
ただ怠けてたわけじゃないよ。
このおべんきょにめっちゃ集中してたのです。



And yesterday, I received the score notification, which is saying I passed the exam for 75.
What is great is that the passing score is also 75!
Although I did my very best, I didn't expect that I passed it.
そして昨日スコアが届いて、75点で合格！
そして何よりすごいのは、合格点も75点！
確かに頑張ったけど、合格するとは思わなかった〜。



Now I'm on a short vacation off to Paris!
As a result I got a winner's trip.
What a goodness!
After the trip, I will focus on the 3 rest of it.
今からはバケーションでパリにいってきます！
結果的に合格のごほうびかな。
もうさいこー！
旅行が終わったら、また残りの3科目に向けてさらにがんばるよー。



But for now, can't wait for Paris~;)
でも今は、パリが楽しみすぎる〜！

Mexican Pyramid @Teotihuacan

While we were in Mexico, we visited a world heritage place, Teotihuacan.
メキシコにいる間に世界遺産のテオティワカン遺跡にいってきましたー。


Look at this beautiful pyramid!!
見て、この超綺麗なピラミッド！



The weather was so nice, the sunshine was brightful and the scenery was perfect.
天気も良くて、日差しもキラキラしてて、景色も完璧。


There are two pyramid here in Teotihuacan, one is called "pyramid of the moon" and the another is called "pyramid of the sun".
テオティワカンにはピラミッドが2つあって、1つは"月のピラミッド"、もう1つは"太陽のピラミッド"


Speaking of pyramid, Egyptian ones are so famous but what is good for Mexican one is that we can climb up on top of the pyramid.
ピラミッドと言えばエジプトのやつが有名だけど、メキシコ版の何がいいかっていうとピラミッドの上まで登れること！


At the top of it, there is a tiny metal sheet on the surface.
It is said that if we touch it under the sunshine, any disease or illness would be cured.
We can get energetic power from the sun there.
頂上では、床に小さな金属の破片があって、日差しを浴びながらその金属を触るとどんな病気も治るって言われてるんだって。
そしてそこで浴びる日光は生のパワーを秘めているとか。




Still now the investigation of this ruins is ongoing.
We never know what kind of civilization prospered so far.
今でも遺跡の発掘は進んでいて、未だにどんな文明が栄えていたかもわかっていないんだって。



Hmm... Interesting!!

DELTA DELTA DELTA!!!

On this weekend, I had 3 day holidays.
So I was supposed to go to Mexico with my friends.
この週末は3連休。
なので友達とメキシコに行く予定でしたー。



I joined after my friends booked their flight, therefore I booked my flight separately.
友達が飛行機の予約を取った後から乗っかったので、自分のチケットは別々に取ったんだよね。




THAT WAS A MISTAKE.
これがすべての間違い。




The original flight was supposed to leave at 8:05.
I didn't sleep at all the previous night so that I wouldn't be late.
(To be honest, I went to a party...)
元々の便は朝8:05。
遅れないように前の晩は寝ずに向かったよ。
(ぶっちゃけパーティーに行ってたんだけど。。。)



Anyways, I was in time at the JFK and waited to assign my seat at the gate.
Since I worried about my seat, I asked the Delta guy if it's ok several times.
As you know, he always said, "I'm working on it."
まあともかく、JFKには間に合って、ゲートで席を割り当てられるのを待ってた訳だ。
自分の席が心配だったからデルタの人に大丈夫か何回か聞いたけど、まあお察しの通り彼らは「今やってるよ」としか言わないわけ。




"OK, I'm gonna wait."
I waited till the plane left.
「わかった、じゃあ待つよ」
って言って飛行機が離陸するまで待ってたわけ。


...till the plane left!?
飛行機が離陸するまで！？



Yes!!
My anxiety came true.
Delta overbooked seats and they couldn't manage them!
There were 14 people left at the gate and they complain about what was happening one by one.
そうなの、まさかの不安的中！
デルタは席の予約を取りすぎて、足りなくなっちゃったみたい。
ゲートに残されたのは14人で、みんな口々にクレームつけてた。



Some of them were almost like "HOME ALONE", because they were two families.
Half of them were on tha plane and the other half were left at the gate.
The lady in the family pissed off and called the police!
Another lady was forced to go to another gate several times due to the fact that there were no one at the another gate.
中には2家族の集まりで、まじで「ホームアローン」みたいな人たちもいたよ。
家族の半分が飛行機に乗ってて、残りの半分はゲートに残されちゃったんだって！
その家族の女の人はブチ切れて警察呼んじゃったしね！
他の女の人は人がいないにも関わらず違うゲートを何回も行き来させられてた。



For me, I was too sleepy to complain, rather I didn't have an enough vocabulary to express full of my anger, so I just stood right aside of the counter and waited for being taken care of.
Honestly, I was about to kill them!!
俺はと言うと、クレームつけるには眠すぎて、もとい怒りを表現しきれるほどのボキャブラリーがないのでカウンターの真隣りに立って順番を待ってたよ。
でもぶっちゃけ、殺してやろーかと思ったけどね！！



Luckily I could get alternative flight to Mexico. (after 2 hours waiting)
Furthermore, Delta refunded $1,300, which was more than my flight fee!!!
Also they gave me a meal voucher, so I finally could reach out a breakfast with waiting for a 2-hours-later flight. <-now I'm here;)
ラッキーなことに代わりの飛行機があったからメキシコには行ける。(2時間待った後に)
さらにデルタは1,300ドル返金してくれた！
しかもこれって自分の払った金額よりも多い！
後は食事クーポンもくれたから2時間後のフライトを待ちながらやっと朝ごはんにありついたとこ。←イマココ。



All in all, everything seems to result in a good way.
However I don't know so far since it is said that Mexico city is one of the most dangerous place.
May I can come back to NYC nice and safe.
最終的には万事うまいこといきそう。
でもまだわかんないよね、なにせメキシコシティは超危ないとこって言われてるし。
無事にNYCに帰ってこれますよーに！

Valentine's Day

As you can guess, the Valentine's day in NY is different from one in Tokyo.
皆さんご存知の通り、NYのバレンタインは東京のものとは一味違うよ！



This is an annual event in Times Square.
For American people, this day means expressing love.
It's not only for couples, but also families and friends.
So I bought a chocolate for my friends!!
これはタイムズスクエアで毎年やってるイベント。
アメリカ人にとって、この日は愛を表現する日。
カップルのためだけではなく、家族や友達にだってアリだよ！
だから俺も友達にチョコ買ったー！


I'm sure they will love this;)
絶対これはみんな大好きでしょ。



At night, the scenery looks a little bit different.
夜になると、またちょっと景色が変わる。
