Hurricane Sandy

It's getting chilly here in NYC, my 2nd winter is almost there.
Since 3 days ago, we've got such a scary hurricane here in the east coast.
The damage is so severe that the economy in nyc has almost stopped.

One faculty in 14th St and 2nd Ave had exploded and the down half of Manhattan is having a huge power outage right now...
My residence is luckily outside of the outage area, but I can tell how hard the situation is.

Two of my friends from Tokyo and North Carolina are visiting nyc now.
Both were supposed to take a flight yesterday but all flights were cancelled due to this hurricane.

This building got blown off.

Subway station is flooded.

As you can see with these pics, the situation is reaaaaaally bad.
This suspension caused big affections on their jobs.
I'm terribly sorry about it.

Now we're trying to find out the way they can go back home.
Hope everything and all my friends are truly alright...
